How to export your wallet's xpub (BlueWallet, Sparrow, Electrum, Ledger, Trezor)
T; Polygon with 0x).What the xpub is — and why it is safe
The extended public key (xpub, ypub or zpub) only lets someone view your wallet's addresses and incoming funds. Stackfy uses it watch-only: it derives a fresh address per invoice and watches the blockchain to confirm the payment. It cannot spend anything.
Never hand over your recovery phrase (the 12/24 words) or private key (xprv) — not to Stackfy, not to anyone. When registering, paste a key starting with xpub, ypub or zpub (Stackfy validates it and rejects seeds/private keys).
BlueWallet (mobile)
- Open the app and tap your Bitcoin wallet.
- Tap the details icon in the top-right corner (opens “Wallet details”).
- Tap Show wallet XPUB.
- The key appears (usually starting with
zpub) with a QR code. Tap to copy and paste it into Stackfy.
Your 12-word phrase is not exported here — and should not be.
Sparrow (desktop)
- Open your wallet in Sparrow.
- Click the Settings tab (gear, on the left).
- Under Keystores, copy the xPub / Extended Public Key field (starts with
xpuborzpub). - Paste it into Stackfy.
Only the public key is exposed — the seed stays offline.
Electrum (desktop)
- Open your wallet in Electrum.
- In the top menu, go to Wallet → Information.
- Copy the Master Public Key (starts with
xpuborzpub). - Paste it into Stackfy.
Ledger (Ledger / Ledger Live app)
- Open the app and select your Bitcoin account.
- Open the account options (gear icon / Edit account).
- Open the Advanced section and copy the xpub (copy only the key characters).
- Paste it into Stackfy.
Menu labels may vary by app version.
Trezor (Trezor Suite)
- In Trezor Suite, select the account in the sidebar.
- Open the Details tab.
- Click Show public key.
- The key appears as text and a QR code. Copy it into Stackfy, checking the characters match your device screen.
USDT on Tron — it is an address, not an xpub
To receive USDT on Tron (TRC-20), Stackfy does not ask for an xpub: just the public address of your Tron wallet, which starts with T.
- In your wallet (e.g. Trust Wallet, TronLink) open USDT (TRC-20) or TRON (TRX).
- Tap Receive and copy the address (starts with
T). - Paste it into Stackfy's USDT field.
From an exchange, use the USDT deposit address on the Tron (TRC-20) network. Always check the network: TRC-20.
USDT on Polygon — also an address (not an xpub)
Stackfy also accepts USDT on Polygon. Like Tron, it is not an xpub: just the public address of your Polygon wallet, which starts with 0x.
- In your wallet (e.g. MetaMask, Trust Wallet) select the Polygon network.
- Copy your account address (starts with
0x) — it is the same for all tokens on Polygon. - Paste it into Stackfy's Polygon / USDT field in your store.
From an exchange, use the USDT deposit address on the Polygon network. Always check the network: Polygon (PoS) — sending over another network can lose the funds.
Frequently asked questions
Is the xpub safe to share?
Yes. The xpub (or ypub/zpub) is a public key: it only watches for incoming funds and derives addresses. Nobody can spend your funds with it. What you must never share is your recovery phrase (12/24 words) or private key.
My key starts with zpub (or ypub). Does it work?
Yes. Stackfy accepts xpub, ypub and zpub — different formats of extended public key. zpub is the default for native SegWit wallets like BlueWallet.
Can I change the wallet later?
Yes, anytime, from the dashboard under Wallet. The change asks for re-confirmation for security, since it sets where your money goes.
What if I paste my 12-word phrase by mistake?
Stackfy detects and rejects seeds and private keys, accepting only the public key. Even so, never type your recovery phrase on any website.
